BIOGRAPHY

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...

Ashley's love for singing and acting started at a very young age. In fact, according to her mother, "she came out singing". Ashley made her stage debut at just two years old, and from there went on to perform with Pro Kids, a talent troupe for children and teens. At the age of 8, Ashley appeared in her first musical, Oliver, in a small community theater. It was then that she began her love affair with acting. Over the next couple of years, Ashley performed in numerous musicals and plays including Annie (as the title role) and The People Garden, among others. She also participated in the Paper Mill Playhouse's New Voices Summer Conservatory Program for five consecutive years where she got to perform numerous times on the main stage.

In 2003, at the age of 14, Ashley appeared twice on NBC's America's Most Talented Kid alongside JoJo, American Idol Diana Degarmo, and MTV's Cheyenne Kimball. She also performed at Madison Square Garden during the NY Knicks halftime show. During her senior year of high school, Ashley was nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Musical by the Paper Mill Playhouse for her portrayal of Lucy Harris in Mahwah High School's production of Jekyll and Hyde the Musical.  Ashley also co-starred in the musical workshop of Cold As Ice, portraying Chelsea Riley, a girl with the dream of becoming an olympic ice skater. The workshop had many readings throughout NYC including, among others, The Laurie Beechman Theater, and was produced by olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.

After high school, Ashley went on to attend Montclair State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a degree in Theater. Shortly after college, she became a proud member of the Actors Equity Association, and began her current career as a professional performer.
